Research Status of Bathing Aids for the Elderly

Against the background of increasing aging and significant aging of the elderly population, the problem of mismatching social care services for the elderly has become increasingly prominent due to the miniaturization of families, the shortage of service-oriented human resources in elderly care institutions, and the large scale and complex composition of disabled elderly people. The state proposes to actively respond to aging and smart old-age care, and use bath aids to assist bathing. At present, there are many different types of bath aids products at home and abroad, but generally, the summary of bath aids is not comprehensive, the classification is vague, and there is a lack of comprehensive listing and analysis of products, a systematic review of bathing aids is lacking. This paper systematically reviews the current situation of bathing aids at home and abroad, which has reference significance for the development of bathing aids in the future.
