Structure Optimization of the Software and Hardware Complex for Electricity Metering

The study represents the search for a path optimization of the software and hardware electricity metering complex structure. It is proposed to increase the level of electronic current and voltage transformers merging unit intellectualization. The direction of research is related to the application of the communication standards for digital current and voltage transformers. The study was proposed to pay attention to the quality flags of the received current and voltage values. If the flags already contain emergency information, merging unit can send a quick message. Thus, there will be information about the accident in the data bus of the software and hardware electricity-metering complex much earlier. This optimizes the operation of the electricity metering system due to a faster response to an emergency. The test results are given.
