Overview of Interactive Visualization Methods

In recent years, interactive visualization has become a research hotspot in data visualization. It is also an important part and one of the core research contents of the visual analysis system. In this paper, the advantages and application fields of interactive visualization are firstly introduced; Secondly, the visualization methods based on application scenarios are summarized from two aspects of text analysis and user behavior analysis; Then it discusses the advantages and disadvantages and main development trends of four methods based on data feature visualization: time event sequence visualization, multidimensional data visualization, spatial point pattern visualization, and hierarchical data visualization; Finally, three research directions of interactive visualization in the future are pointed out and its application fields have prospected.
