Implementation of PVWatts Software for Design of Roof Solar Panels at the Faculty of Engineering, Subang University

The potential of solar energy in Subang reaches 4.8 kWh/m2. Subang University has potential in the development of solar energy and a Solar Power Plant study was conducted in the Faculty of Engineering building. In this study, it was found that from the results of PVWatts Software imaging at the Faculty of Engineering, the production of rooftop solar panel electrical energy was 10kWp in one year of 12,381kWh. This electrical energy can reduce the use of 64.71% of the energy consumption in the building.
