The power source of new energy vehicles is generally dominated by lithium battery packs, and the output voltage and current are relatively high. Considering the safety of the circuit, there must be a circuit breaker at the output end of the power supply to control the on-off of the entire circuit. The circuit breaker determines It ensures the reliable and efficient charging and discharging of the battery module, and also ensures the safe driving of the vehicle. In this paper, a new energy vehicle battery pack with an output power of 400V/200A is used as the experimental object, and an intelligent solid -state circuit breaker is proposed to replace the traditional mechanical circuit breaker. The module uses several IGBT in parallel as electronic switches, and the STM32 Microcontroller Unit is the main control chip to control the on-off of the entire circuit, the main difficulty of the circuit breaker is the shutdown when working with large currents, so an energy absorption circuit is added to deal with the discharge of energy during shutdown, This design tests the voltage waveform at different turn-off currents. The intelligence is reflected in the interaction with the car and the machine. When the car is running, it can transmit the working status information of the loop to the car machine terminal. In the event of an abnormal situation, measures can be taken in time to warn the car owner, and the output power of the car can be limited by shutting off the remote control loop of the car and adjusting the sh ut-off conditions.
