Second-order Coordinated Control of Microgrid Changing Topology Considering the Communication Delay

This paper aims to solve the problem of frequency and voltage deviation in primary droop control of microgrid in isolated island operation, a control strategy is proposed that multi-agent based consistency protocol considering communication delay, and the network topology is adopted to achieve mutual coordination between agents. This control strategy is applied to the secondary control of the microgrid, and the frequency and voltage set points are updated in a distributed manner to reduce the system error. Compared with the traditional control strategy, the improved control strategy has the ability to overcomes the influence of communication delay. In the case of topology changing, the stability of the system can be ensured and the convergence speed of the system can be improved. Finally, the simulation experimental of the isolated island microgrid system is carried out in Matlab/Simulink, and the simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.
