Design of High Order Sliding Mode Controller for Climbing Phase of Hypersonic Vehicle

The problem of controller design for hypersonic vehicle is studied based on high-order sliding mode control strategy considering the influence of model parameter uncertainties. The linear term is added to the traditional super spiral sliding mode control, and the inverse cotangent function is provided for the calculation of control parameters. As a result, the system state can approach the sliding mode surface at a faster speed when they are far away from each other, while reducing the approaching speed when they are close. So the convergence speed of the errors can be improved by the aid of the adaptive factor. The stability of the system is analyzed based on Lyapunov function method. The feasibility of the proposed method is proved by simulation experiments.
