Model Predictive Control of Outlet Temperature of Calciner Considered RDF Mixing Ratio

Focusing on the problems that the co-firing characteristics of RDF and pulverized coal in the refuse synergistic calciner are unclear and the calciner outlet temperature is difficult to control, a model predictive controller for the outlet temperature of the calciner considering the RDF mixing ratio is proposed. Firstly, the combustion characteristics of RDF in the co-disposal of cement kiln are analyzed. Then, SSARX-MLR was used to establish a data-driven multi-input model of co-disposal calciner. The constraint conditions in the control process of the outlet temperature of the calciner are analyzed and a model predictive control strategy considering RDF mixing ratio for the outlet temperature of the calciner is proposed. The results show that the designed controller has good stability, and the control effect of calciner outlet temperature can meet the requirement.
