Design of LPV Controller for Morphing Aircraft Based on Finite-time Time-varying Sliding Mode

The morphing aircraft is susceptible to external disturbances during the deformation process. If only the traditional gain scheduling control method is used, the closed-loop control system can easily cause oscillation and cannot meet the requirements of stable flight during the deformation process. Aiming at the above problems, this paper proposes a parameter-varying (LPV) controller based on finite-time time-varying sliding mode and applies it to morphing aircraft. Firstly, without considering external disturbance, the system is kept stable by designing a traditional gain scheduling controller. Then, by selecting a special sliding mode surface, a finite-time time-varying sliding mode control law is designed. Theoretical derivation proves that the sliding mode controller can effectively suppress compound disturbances. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
