Electro-Hydraulic Proportional Position Control Based On Variable Domain Fuzzy PID

To improve the control accuracy and response speed, and the nonlinear characteristics caused by the dead-zone of the valve and the asymmetry and friction force of the cylinder in the electro-hydraulic proportional servo system, the control strategy of variable domain fuzzy PID control and the static dead-zone and asymmetry compensation algorithm are studied. The simulation results show that the variable domain fuzzy PID control can improve the control accuracy and response speed. The experimental results show that the static dead-zone and asymmetry compensation algorithm combined with variable domain fuzzy PID control improves the performance of the position control system of the electro-hydraulic proportional valve controlled hydraulic cylinder; in the square wave tracking experiment, the overshoot is 0 and the steady-state error is 1mm; in the sine wave tracking experiment, the flat top phenomenon and the lag of the commutation point are eliminated, and the maximum error is reduced from 9mm to 4mm; in the triangle wave tracking experiment, the maximum error at the commutation point is 4mm.
