Particles Motion Analysis in Compact Toroid for Long-distance Deliver of Magnetic Field

The coaxial plasma gun can produce a high-speed and dense compact toroid, which has a wide range of applications, such as nuclear engineering and aerospace. The magnetized coaxial plasma gun can generate a magnetized compact toroid with stronger stability and higher propagation velocity by applying magnetic field constraints. Based on the compact toroid characters, the limit of magnetic-field interaction which is the distance between sources of magnetic-field may be broken by delivering magnetic fields in the distance to achieve the interaction of ultra-long-distance electromagnetic forces. In this research, we adopt the particle tracking method, Maxwell-boundary conditions, and Runge-Kutta solution method based on the snow-plow model and simulate the electronic motion in the MARDUER initial acceleration section of the Phillips laboratory under several magnetic fields. The results show that forming the stable plasma ring and freezing the poloidal magnetic field is both quick without considering the particle collision and other factors. However, the poloidal magnetic field is still affected by the change of the magnetic field.
