Design of Full Digital Signal Generator and FIR Digital Filter System Based on FPGA

Data acquisition system is of great significance in the field of aerospace and industrial production, and digital filtering technology has significant advantages over traditional analog filters. Based On this situation, a design scheme of signal generator and FIR digital filtering system based on FPGA is proposed in this paper. Based On the Virtex4 series FPGA of Xilinx Company as the core control unit, the weighting coefficients of various delay units of FIR filter are designed with the help of MATLAB, and FIR IP core is called. An all-digital FIR digital filtering system is realized, which integrates a signal generator, a data collector and a FIR filter. Experiments show that the system can generate a variety of signals independently and collect data correctly. The addition of FIR filter significantly improves the SNR and reduces the mean square error. The system has a high degree of independence, that is, it can generate a variety of signals independently without external signal sources, and can be extended to BIT monitoring, gain closed-loop control and other fields.
