Exponential stability analysis for nonlinear switched positive systems by a mode-dependent minimum dwell time approach

This paper analyzes the problems of positivity and exponential stability for nonlinear switched positive systems(SPSs) by a mode-dependent minimum dwell time approach. Firstly, for the nonlinear SPSs in delay-free case, a necessary and sufficient positivity condition is developed, and by constructing a novel discretized linear copositive Lyapunov function, a sufficient condition of exponential stability is derived by a mode-dependent minimum dwell time approach. Then, for the nonlinear SPSs in time-varying delay case, a necessary and sufficient positivity condition as well as a sufficient delay-dependent condition of exponential stability are further provided accordingly. Finally, the effectiveness is illustrated by an example.
