Interlaboratory Comparison Measurements for Military Magnetic Emission Test

Inter-laboratory Comparisons (ILC) and Proficiency Testing (PT) are an important and essential tool to provide accurate and reliable results within the permissible uncertainty levels for the EMC test laboratories. Moreover, it is also stipulated by ISO/IEC 17025 that all laboratories must participate in inter-laboratory comparison programs for all types of measurements performed in the laboratory when suitable comparison measurements are commenced. In this study, inter-laboratory comparison results related to the MIL-STD-461F/G RE101 test organized by TÜBİTAK UME in the period of time between August 2020 and November 2020 are presented and the measurement results are evaluated. The comparison measurements were performed by using a RE101 reference device developed by TÜBİTAK UME in the frequency range of 30 Hz – 100 kHz and the stability measurements of the reference device were carried out by TÜBİTAK UME. Ten EMC test laboratories participated in the RE101 comparison measurements and the statistical evaluation of the participating laboratories was made by using the En method according to ISO/IEC 17043.
