A Study on the Firm Life Cycle Forecasting Model Using Machine Learning Based on News Articles

This paper proposes a method of predicting a firm life cycle by using news data from unstructured text data, which is an information source that has not been used in the past. This paper also proposes a method of selecting keyword candidates that can represent a firm life cycle of a company and quantify the life cycle of the company by using four machine learning techniques.
