Research on Testing Method of Automobile Engine Performance Parameters Based on LabVIEW

The testing of engine parameters is the basis for correct evaluation and judgment of engine performance. The accuracy of the data testing directly affects the accuracy of the evaluation. Based on LabViewsoftware development platform, the test method reflecting engine performance parameters was researched, and a new portable tester was developed to test the conventional parameters such as cylinder pressure, exhaust temperature, acceleration, speed and vibration. The instrument is composed of sensors and data acquisition cards, which can achieve accurate acquisition of the measured data and display it intuitively with a friendly interface. It meets the demand for accurate acquisition of engine performance parameters. Its software is the core. When the test conditions change, the research method can be updated quickly. The software is easy to maintain, and it has a broad application prospect in the testing field.
