Control and Remote Monitoring of a CNC Lathe Using a Software-Based Controller

The article presents the practical aspects of solving the problems of control and remote monitoring of a CNC lathe using a software-implemented controller (SoftPLC) and a developed interface designer that allows you to create interfaces from various elements that can be used to display up-to-date information about technological processes and manage them. An example of solving the problem of remote monitoring and control of the electric automatics of a CNC lathe using the developed solution is considered. The approach presented in the paper makes it possible to provide a synthesis of control and monitoring tasks for the operation of process equipment using a single solution.
