Probing charge transport in heterostructured phase-segregated hybrid perovskite semiconductors with terahertz radiation

We employ terahertz radiation to investigate the impact of phase segregation on the charge-carrier dynamics and transport properties of mixed halide perovskite films. We reveal negligible impact on charge-carrier mobilities, and preservation of Drude-like transport. We demonstrate enhanced lattice anharmonicity that underlines the ionic migration mechanisms. We show how minimal structural transformations have a dramatic effect on the charge-carrier dynamics as a result of charge funnelling.
