Antenna Integration in sub-Terahertz Radar Systems

Sub-Terahertz and Terahertz (sub-THz, THz) technologies find application in a large range of areas as communication, imaging, sensing and radar systems. For these applications, sub-Terahertz systems are facing huge challenges in terms of fabrication and integration of antennas together with system components. In this abstract, an overview of different technological choices adopted in the design of 140 GHz and 300 GHz antennas used in radar systems is presented.
