Electrical Control of Mode-Locked Resonant Tunneling Diode Terahertz Oscillators

We experimentally demonstrated electrical control of the repetition frequency and offset frequency of mode-locked resonant tunneling diode (RTD) terahertz oscillators by bias voltage modulation. These results will pave the way for the realization of stabilized terahertz frequency comb using RTD oscillators that operate at room-temperature.
