The Developing of the Sensor System with IoT for Fertilizer Quality Monitoring: Case of Bio-organic Fertilizer from Palm Wastes

With the exponentially growing adoption of the Internet of Things (IoT), its application in agriculture is widely adopted. This paper demonstrates the IoT use cases in agriculture in which the sensor system with IoT for Bio-Organic fertilizer quality monitoring has been developed. Such sensor can detect the value of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), humidity, temperature, acidity (PH) and electrical conductivity (EC) that have been transformed by MCU ESP32 via WiFi prior to delivering to the cloud (ThingSpeak). From the experiment, the sensor system can detect and monitor the physical and biological factors via the smart devices with accurately and precisely manner resulting in the better quality of Bio-Organic fertilizer products.
