The Advancement of Industrial LED Lighting and Its Future Applications

This paper will discuss key factors to consider in designing an industrial lighting space. Key lighting technologies used in industrial facilities with special focus on light emitting diode (LED) is discussed and compared. This paper will discuss in detail attributes that needs to be considered in selecting a luminaire with emphasis on LED technology. How these attributes impact safety, sustainability, light pollution, and digitalization is discussed. A framework to consider when selecting luminaire is presented as a conclusion.
