Failure Detection and Identification of UAV Positioning System Based on Equivalent Dynamic Test Method

The positioning system is an electromagnetically sensitive weak unit in the UAV system, and its immunity limits the performance of UAV in complex electromagnetic environment. In order to effectively improve the reliability of UAV positioning system, this paper designs the equivalent dynamic test system to carry out the radiation interference effect experiment in the microwave anechoic chamber. The sensitive frequency ranges of UAV positioning system are summarized, and the failure types are identified and analyzed. The experimental results show that radio frequency interference (RFI) induces two different failures to the positioning system. The frequency of RFI from 30MHz to 1GH causes the positioning system to temporarily stop working, and the failure will recover automatically after the interference frequency changes. The frequency of RFI from 1GHz to 3GHz affects the demodulation of GPS signal, and the positioning system cannot work normally in the whole frequency range. This phenomenon shows that the coupling paths of RFI in different frequency ranges into UAV positioning system are different.
