Transparent and High Angular Stability Frequency Selective Surface for Dual-Band RF Shielding

An optical transparent, high angular stability and polarization-insensitive frequency-selective surface for dual-band Wi-Fi shielding is presented in this paper. The structure, equivalent circuit model and working principle are investigated. Simulation results show that shielding effectiveness is higher than 40 dB at 2.45 and 5.5 GHz bands under the normal incidence. The shielding performance remains stable as the incident angle increasing up to 75°.
