Analysis of EM reflections in a undergound mine for the CBRS band of Private mobile networks

The bandwidths, as well as the frequencies used in the new communication systems, are constantly increasing. Their behaves in the underground mines are not really known. The use of models and/or simulation software requires knowing the nature of this environment as well as their propagation characteristics. Indeed, this environment has rough walls with irregular reliefs. In this paper we will evaluate, with a measurement set-up, the reflection coefficient of the walls. This reflection coefficient will be used in propagation simulation software to predict propagation in this environment and thus ensure optimal and efficient use of new communications systems.
