A Variational Auto-Encoder and Transformer Based Approach for Metasurface Unit Cell Synthesis

Inspired by the similarity between the text-to-image synthesis problem and the scattering parameters to metasurface unit cell synthesis problem, we utilize a variational auto-encoder and transformer based approach to synthesize three-layer dog-bone unit cells from the knowledge of two-port scattering parameters in the X band.
