Virtual RC Feedforward Control Strategy for Constant Power Load in Marine DC Microgrid

The paper proposes an active damping control strategy based on the virtual RC feedforward loop for the constant power load cascade system in marine DC microgrid. Firstly, the structure and parameters of the voltage feedforward loop were designed in detail, the transfer functions of the second-order low-pass filter and proportional gain controller were deduced. Then the system stability and audio attenuation rate after adopting the strategy were analyzed; Finally, the resonance suppression experiment and the load power mutation experiment were carried out on Matlab/Simulink respectively. The experimental results show that the strategy can well suppress the resonance phenomenon and ensure the stable operation of the cascade system.
