Analysis of Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access Technique Performance Using Nakagami-m Fading Distribution

This paper studies the fairness property of nonorthogonal multiple access (NOMA), in the power domain where mobile networks are capable of achieving at least the possible information capacity equally to Orthogonal Multiple Access (OMA) users. A comparison between OMA and NOMA Techniques, in which capacities as functions of SNR ρ ratio are presented, displays an enhancement in capacities when using NOMA compared to OMA. In addition, an important parameter of NOMA, is fairness index, which allows to locate power allocation region.
