Supply Chain Partner Onboarding using Conversational AI and NLP in B2B Context

Partner onboarding is the most important process in B2B supply chain management. Partner onboarding comprises collecting data from customers, data about customers’ partners, checking the compliance, assessing the risk associated, and integrating them with the supply chain platform of the service provider. It is important because it paves the way to create strong customer relationships, thus improving the outcomes. Often this is a challenge since onboarding involves constant manual inter-actions, between customers, trading partners, and B2B service providers. With the existing process to onboard suppliers, we risk damaging our relationship with the customers and partners. Using AI, the process of onboarding customers becomes easier for B2B service providers with hundreds of customers and thousands of customer trading partners. Conversational AI and chatbots are some of the primary applications of AI. We propose a solution using AI to automate the partner onboarding process. This solution uses state-of-the-art conversational AI and other NLP techniques using which we can automate the onboarding of customers and trading partners, providing real-time project status, multilingual support for onboarding, cost reduction, and round-the-clock availability. This solution can also be used to check the real-time project status and analyze the real-time cost based on the usage of the services. The chatbots are personalized according to the user login and each user will have their version of details to be updated. This solution is deployed on the cloud and is available for the service provider, their customers, and the associated trading partners.
