Matrix Inversion on Hardware Board Using FPGA for Application in MIMO Systems

This paper presents a new method for obtaining the matrix inversion using FPGA. In this method the characteristics of a 2×2 matrix inversion and block matrix inversion are used in an iterative manner to obtain the matrix inversion. The performance of this algorithm is satisfactory at the low computation load compared to the traditional row/column wise methods.
