Design of Cross Coupled Filter on a Thin-Film Substrate at X Band

In this study, a cross-coupled band-pass filter is presented for X-band applications by using thin-film substrate. The filter is constructed from square open loop resonators. The filter has a center frequency of 9290 MHz and a bandwidth of 160 MHz. The coupling matrix is synthesized so that the transmission zero is formed at two finite frequencies. A filter structure has been created to provide this coupling matrix. The simulation and measurement results of the filter are presented.
