Dielectric Property Design Based on BaTi2O5 Nanorods and BaTiO3 Nanoparticles Couple and its Application in Embedded Capacitor

In this work, a composite structure based on BaTi
2
O
5
(BT2) nanorods and BaTiO
3
(BT) nanoparticles couple was designed to explore the impact of the nanorods and nanoparticles on composite properties. For this purpose, huge numbers of high-purity BT2 nanorods and BT nanoparticles have been obtained respectively by molten-salt synthesis. The mixture of prepared BT2 and BT was filled into the epoxy resin as a whole to fabricate the embedded capacitor copper clad laminate (ECCCL) with a filler mass fraction of 60 %. As the content of BT2 increases, the relative permittivity of the ECCCLs shows an increasing trend, and the relative permittivity of ECCCL filled with 100 wt% BT2 nanorods reaches a maximum of 47@1 MHz.
