A spatial scheduling strategy based on evaluation of the remaining usable area for shipbuilding

Aiming at the bottleneck problem of low efficiency in shipbuilding, we proposed a spatial scheduling strategy based on the evaluation of the remaining usable area to achieve the higher utilization of the processing field, which can greatly increase the efficiency of production. On the basis of the pre-processing of the blocks in irregular shapes, the collision detecting technology and remaining available field search technology are developed with a loop-search rule. Then we introduced our placing strategy based on the lower-left points determination as well as the remaining usable are evaluation. At last, a simulation is carried out in Python that turns out the availability of our strategy.
