Design and Implementation of A New High Precision Detection of Ionic Rays Based on Laser System

Nuclear radiation detection (NRD) methods are based on the processes of excitation and ionization of atoms in the detection medium by passing a charged particle. The incident radiation may be a charged particle or it may cause the release of a charged particle after an elementary particle interaction. Classical detectors are usually of two types, those that produce a pulse charge (PC) after the ionization of the medium and those that produce an explosion of photons (EFP) that are then detected by a photomultiplier tube. Nuclear detection systems are limited to two main factors, which are the accuracy of the readings measured in cycles per minute and the size of the work in terms of fixed or portable detectors. In this paper, the laser cavity is designed to detect gamma rays, beta rays, and alpha rays. The innovative way of delivering the inert gas under low pressure to the ionization threshold increases the sensitivity of the device and increases the speed of its response to 11000 cycles per minute compared to the old meters such as the gear counter.
