The Development of Pedograph and Methods for Diagnosing Gait Disorders

The article is devoted to the problem of developing a pedograph and methods for diagnosing gait disorders. For remote data transmission from pedograph sensors, a special adapter with a Bluetooth module was developed. This made it possible to receive data from the device at the time of its direct use, for subsequent analysis. The software code was written and debugged, which allows processing the data necessary for conducting experiments and visualizing them in the application in a form that is easy to understand. The author proposes algorithms for determining the types of gait, as well as methods for analyzing the mass distribution on the foot and subsequent detection of disorders. As a result, the mobility of the created pedograph, as well as the possibility of remote data transmission, will make it possible to diagnose the subject’s gait in a variety of conditions, which will help to identify difficult-to-diagnose gait problems.
