The Way of Mini-CHPP in the Russian Regions

The development of distributed cogeneration can help improve the efficiency of power supply systems in Russia, but there are no programs for the development of distributed energy in Russian regions. It is impossible to create a single program for all regions, since the effectiveness of the implementation of distributed cogeneration will be various in different regions of Russia due to the diversityin climatic and social conditions. It is necessary to determine the regions where the development of distributed energy will be most relevant, and for them, programs for the development of distributed energy based on cogeneration should subsequently be created. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the feasibility of developing programs for the development of distributed energy on natural gas in the regions of Russia. The article proposes factors to determine the regions in which the development of distributed energy through the transformation of boiler houses into mini-combined heat and power plants will have the greatest potential. A factor analysis was carried out based on the proposed criteria for the regions of Russia, regions with a high potential for the development of distributed energy, with low potential due to the lack of gas boiler houses for transformation and due to an excess balance in electricity, and regions for which the proposed coefficients do not give an unambiguous answer. A rating of regions with high potential was also compiled to determine those where it is first of all important to develop distributed energy.
