Analysis of key nodes in airline network based on complex networks

We select the airline network as the object of study, calculate the characteristic parameters of the airline network via complex networks theory, and point out its small-world network characteristics and degree distribution obeys the exponential distribution. The nodes in the airline network are ranked according to degree centrality, closeness centrality, betweenness centrality, eigenvector centrality and semi-local centrality, and we derive the important nodes by analyzing the centrality. In addition, it is found that the network has poor destruction resistance by recording the changes of network efficiency under deliberate and random attack. These results will provide contribution to the development of airline's network.
