Simulation Bicycle Arcade Game with VR Bike

In this research, we present virtual reality bike simulator (VR Bike) that is combined with arcade game type that only uses bicycle handlebar as a full control. We implemented our system using a HTC Vive Pro VR headset, a Pacific Invert 300 bicycle that was mounted on Strummer bike trainer, and using Arduino that has been connected to a CMPS12 sensor and Optocoupler sensor which is built using Unity game engine. Our research shows how virtual cycling simulator and arcade game can be combined to reduce cybersickness and increase immersion that are natural to the user in virtual world.
