Design of Dual Slot Microstrip Antenna for Wireless Application

This paper depicts a Microstrip Patch Antenna for S-band and C-band triple frequency band applications. This antenna is made out of a 70*70*1.6mm

substrate with two slot, and it was created using the modeling software ANSYS HFSS Version15. To achieve a small design with three frequency bands in S and C band, FR-4 is used as a dielectric-material having dielectric value 4.4 and thickness 1.6mm. The results show that the first resonance frequency of 4.74GHz has a reflection coefficient of -26.40 dB, the second resonant frequency of 3.61GHz has a reflection coefficient of -23.89 dB, and the third resonant frequency of 2.58GHz has a reflection coefficient of -19.49 dB.
