Research on Health Estimation Methods for Variable Cycle Engine

Performance seeking control of variable cycle engines requires prediction of engine performance based on an on-board model. Based on the variable cycle engine model, the Kalman filter, the extended Kalman filter and the traceless Kalman filter are used to estimate the engine performance degradation parameters. A comparison and analysis of the three methods is carried out to lay the foundation for subsequent research on performance seeking control methods.
