The Performance Simulation of the Conversion Process of a Double-Mode Turbo Engine

A new concept turbine engine work for the rotor-wing conversion vertical take-off and landing aircraft has been proposed in this paper — called the double-mode turbo engine, which can realize the turboshaft engine thermal cycle and the turbofan engine thermal cycle on the same engine. And the reverse method is proposed in this paper for the engine mode conversion process of double-mode turbo engine. By using reverse method, the regulation law of each variable geometry component in the mode conversion process of the double-mode turbo engine is obtained.
