A Wearable Safety Device for Women using IoT

Even though India is a country with a developing economy, it nevertheless has a high rate of crime against women. In particular, Women are at high risk when they travel alone on desolate roads or in remote places. Due to the lack of security mechanisms to safeguard women. As a result, they carry many gadgets. The proposed safety gadget WSM can assist in safeguarding women from crime activities. The proposed Arduino board consumes less power and energy. The proposed model is an all-in-one security safeguard system, which is enabled by a single click, wherein the movements were tracked by using GPS and GSM technology so that an emergency message could be sent to the Arduino's pre-programmed contact list.
