Spectral Transmission Background Tunability of a Micro-Ring Resonator via Coherent Feedback

We propose and analyze a novel micro-ring resonator device with tunable spectral transmission background. By suitably controlling the relative feedback intensity and phase, pure phase modulation by a micro-ring with internal loss can be achieved.
