Location calculation of magnetic survey points considering the influence of sea breeze and currents

Based on the current towing operation mode of shipboard marine magnetic survey, the relationship between the position of the survey vessel and the trace of the towed fish under the action of sea wind and currents is discussed, the calculation formula of the position of the magnetic survey point is derived, the method of calculating the position of the magnetic survey point in steps is proposed, and a sea trial of a large ship towing a small ship is designed and carried out to verify the effectiveness of the method. The experiments show that the proposed step-by-step method can effectively reduce the deviation of the system caused by the sea current and sea wind, and improve the accuracy of the magnetic survey point position calculation.
