The development of the method for assessing the quality of means of technical protection of information

The paper formulates a meaningful and mathematical formulation of the problems of assessment of the quality of technical protection of information from leakage through technical channels, taking into account two parameters: the indicator of the effectiveness of overlapping information leakage channels (ILCh) by the considered information security tools (IST) and the cost indicator of the IS itself. The problem of multi-criteria assessment of the quality of technical information protection using a model in the form of a two-level statistical decision-making model under uncertainty is considered. At the lower level, individual characteristics of the information security system are evaluated based on a combined criterion. Combining the values of individual characteristics and choosing the most preferable one is based on the application of the Pareto optimality principle.
