Load Flow Analysis of HVAC HVDC System

The paper presents load flow analysis of 30 bus HVAC system using Newton Raphson Technique. In this 30 bus HVAC system, an HVDC link is incorporated between bus 9 and bus 28, thus making HVAC HVDC system. The load flow analysis of this HVAC HVDC system is performed by sequential solution technique which converts the HVDC link into equivalent active and reactive power injections by making use of combination 1 of specified control parameters. Further net power injections are calculated at these buses, thus making the entire system as pure AC system whose load flow analysis is then performed by Newton Rapshon method.
