Architecture of Automatic Irrigation System in Hilly Area using Wireless Sensor Network: A Review

Without a proper irrigation system, agriculture is impossible. Earlier, the farmers are using traditional methods to irrigate their crops. Nowadays, scientists and researchers are working to develop new innovative techniques to properly irrigate the crop according to their requirement. In this paper our main goal is to use water efficiently in the hilly area mainly in the Per Panjanl range where water resource is very less. This purposed system based on the rooftop rain water technique to store rain water and use it for irrigation in these areas. This system powered through the solar system, battery, electric current etc. Our goal to be an optimal use of natural resources and use the water for automatic irrigation system so that the most of the barren area used for agriculture so that the crop quality and quantity can be enhanced. Our system is working on the parameter of the sensor which sense the temperature, soil moisture and humidity. These hardware components are connected to the NodeMCU perform tasks to the turn pump value on/off according to a predefined value in the sensor and their program.
