Comprehensive Evaluation for Combined Power Generation System of Wind-Photovoltaic and Hybrid Storage

Using the adjustment capabilities of the pumped storage and battery energy storage, the uncertainties of wind power and photovoltaic (PV) output power can be alleviated. Considering the complementary regulating speed and capacity, the combined exploitation of wind and photovoltaic generation with the hybrid storage such as pumped storage and battery energy storage would potentially promote the accommodation of renewable energy. The economic and technical advantages of the grid-connected combined power generation system need to be evaluated. Therefore, a comprehensive evaluation method for the combined power generation system consisting of wind-photovoltaic and hybrid storage is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the comprehensive evaluation index system for combined power generation system is designed, and the definition and connotation of each index are summarized. Then, aiming at the evaluation indexes, a comprehensive evaluation model method is proposed, in which the analytic hierarchy process is used to determine the weight of each index, and a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is presented to obtain evaluation results. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method is validated by the case analysis.
