DSM and DTM Extraction Accuracy Detection Utilising UAV Imagery on Different Altitudes

Digital elevation models (DEMs), also called digital surface models (DSMs) or digital terrain models (DTMs), are important sources of geospatial information for many remote sensing applications, such as deformation monitoring, multi-criteria decision support systems, 3D spatial analyses, and high-resolution satellite images. Some calculations and process chains depend on DEM accuracy. Choosing the correct DEM requires considering the study's purpose, accuracy need, and scale. This research is conduct at Tekkah, Perak's. The purpose of this research is to identify the accuracy detection of UAV based on different flying altitude. The method proposed for this research is aerial photogrammetry by using unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). This is important in order to help us to capture the most reliable data to analyze the difference accuracy based on detection from Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) captured and analyze at different altitude. The findings obtained is that the 300m flying height altitude captures a more accurate surface and terrain model compared to the 400m flying height.
