Markov Chain Model and Power Spectral Density of Hardware Trojan Detection

So far, Integrated Circuit (IC) technology has formed four major industrial chains: Design, Manufacturing, Packaging and Testing, which are independent and inseparable from each other. In the current global industrial layout, we can not determine whether the chip manufactured by the contractor is artificially added to the hardware trojan, therefore, the hardware trojan detection technology has become a research hotspot. In this paper, a mathematical model of Markov chain is established based on the power analysis of hardware trojan, and the spectral density and related properties of hardware trojan power are studied, which provides a new idea for hardware trojan detection.
